Jerzy Potocki has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Jerzy is currently the CEO and Destination Imagination Affiliate Director for Fundacja Rozwoju Kreatywności, where they promote and manages the Destination Imagination program in Poland. Prior to this, they served as the DI Affiliate Director for Destination Imagination, Inc., an American non-profit organization focused on inspiring and equipping students to become innovators and leaders. Jerzy also has experience as the President of the Board at Foundation for New Technologies and as a Senior Strategy Consultant and Equity Partner at CENTRE.Consulting. Jerzy has held various leadership and advisory roles at organizations such as 3HORIZONS, StartSmart CEE, Foundation for Technology Entrepreneurship, Fundacja Rodzin Adopcyjnych, Stowarzyszenie Francja-Polska, and AIMS. Their work has involved areas such as HiTech, education, mentoring, business consulting, and non-profit initiatives.
Jerzy Potocki has a diverse education background in both business management and technical fields. Jerzy obtained an MBA in Business Management from HEC Paris and SGH Warsaw School of Economics in 1994-1995. Jerzy then pursued a Ph.D. in Business Management from the University of Warsaw from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Physics from XVII LO im. Andrzeja Frycza Modrzewskiego in 1989 and a Master's degree in IT, Applied Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Applied Physics from Warsaw University of Technology in 1989-1994. In terms of additional certifications, they completed IBM Lotus Notes Administrator & Designer courses, both Level 1 and Level 2, from Altkom Akademia and IBM in 1999 and 2000 respectively. Jerzy also holds certifications in EuroNext ELITE private market and LSE ELITE private market from Euronext and LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) in 2020-2021. Additionally, they obtained the Road Rescuer certification from Polski Związek Motorowy (Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Federation) in 2004.
