Roberto Coscia

Roberto Coscia has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in quality assurance and healthcare. Roberto is currently working as a Principal QA Engineer at Strategy in Action, where they lead international quality assurance initiatives and specializes in automation using Cypress and Playwright libraries. Prior to this, Roberto worked as a Senior QA Engineer at Paramount, focusing on TV and media projects and using frameworks such as Synergy and Selenium/Java. Roberto also has experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer at TikTok, performing functional and non-functional testing on various applications. Additionally, Roberto has worked as a Lead QA Engineer at Dedalus Italia S.p.A., managing an international team and conducting cross-platform testing. Before transitioning into QA roles, Roberto served as a Software Tester/QA Analyst at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and as a Senior Staff Nurse at NHS, delivering high-quality medical care and utilizing software systems for coordination and data management.

Roberto Coscia obtained a BSc in Adult Nursing from the University of Bari between 2010 and 2013. Roberto then pursued an MSc in Computer Science with Software Engineering at Wrexham University from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their degrees, Roberto also earned several certifications, including Foundations of Cybersecurity from Google (obtained in 2024), Selenium Essential Training from LinkedIn (obtained in 2023), Test Automation Foundations from LinkedIn (obtained in 2023), and Building Test Automation Framework using Selenium and TestNG from Coursera (obtained in 2022). Roberto also obtained certifications in other areas such as Service Desk Analyst (SDA) from PeopleCert (obtained in 2020) and PRINCE2 FOUNDATION CERTIFIED, also from PeopleCert (obtained in 2019). Finally, they completed various online courses related to web development and server-side development from platforms such as Coursera.
