Joanne Chianello

Joanne Chianello is an experienced professional in municipal affairs and journalism, currently serving as a Senior Advisor and Manager of the Municipal Services Practice Group at StrategyCorp Inc. since May 2023. From September 2016 to May 2023, Joanne worked as a city affairs analyst at CBC Ottawa. Prior to that, extensive experience was gained at The Ottawa Citizen from 1995 to 2016 in various roles including freelancer, reporter, columnist, and city editor. Joanne began their career as a reporter at The Financial Post from 1992 to 1995. Joanne Chianello holds a degree from Carleton University, completed in 1992.
