Jens Straten

Jens Straten has a long and varied work experience. Jens began their career in 1992 as an Application Designer / Developer at pro-Datensysteme. In 1994, they moved to Siemens-Nixdorf as a Consultant. Jens then moved to EzCommerce in 1995 as a Senior Consultant / Project Manager / Solution Architect. In 2004, they joined Answerthink as a Project Manager / Solution Architect. In 2005, they began working at Softtek as a Program Manager / Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect. In 2013, they joined Soltius NZ Ltd as an Enterprise Architect where they executed successful SAP HANA pre-sales engagements, was in charge of Enterprise Architecture & Management Consulting activities, was responsible for planning and configuration of demo systems, explored new SAP technologies and products, took various SAP partner training classes, and installed SAP CAR as a demo system for customer demos. Since 2007, Jens Straten has been the CEO of Straten Consulting.

Jens Straten's education history includes an Abitur from Ratsgymnasium Goslar in 1989, where they studied Physics and English. Jens then went on to receive an equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Technische Universität Braunschweig in 1994.
