Edward Daranyi

Edward Daranyi has an extensive work experience in the field of theatre, starting as a Director at the Stratford Festival in 1998. Edward has also worked as a Theatre Director and Acting Coach on a freelance basis, and as a Workshop Instructor at the International Shakespeare Center. Additionally, they have held roles such as Guest Artist at George Brown College, Associate Professor and Guest Director at Michigan State University, and Artistic Director at In The Blink Productions. Their experience includes teaching, directing, and coaching in various institutions and organizations related to theatre and performance.

Edward Daranyi completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting at the University of Windsor from 1989 to 1993. Edward then pursued additional training in classical text and Shakespeare at various institutions such as the Stratford Festival, The Actors' Workshop, Royal Shakespeare Company, Shakespeare Link, and The Factory between 1994 and 2008.
