Jolene Small

Senior Development Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd.

Jolene Small has extensive work experience in the engineering industry. Jolene began their career as a Student Engineer at various companies, including Irving Paper, Nova Scotia Government: Department of Transportation and Public Works, and Encana. In 2002, they worked as an Inorganic Analyst at PSC Analytical Services. Jolene then transitioned to a Senior Engineer role at Encana Corporation in 2007, focusing on Reservoir & Development. Jolene held this position until 2020 when they joined Ovintiv as a Senior Reservoir Engineer. Jolene later moved to PetroChina Canada, where they worked as a Senior Engineer, specializing in Reservoir & Development and Lead Development in the Duvernay field. Currently, Jolene is employed at Strathcona Resources Ltd. as a Senior Development Engineer.

Jolene Small pursued their higher education by first attending Acadia University from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Later, they went on to attend Dalhousie University from 2003 to 2007 and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering.
