Meghan McKendry C.E.T

Meghan McKendry C.E.T has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Meghan is currently working as a Completions Engineering Technologist at Strathcona Resources Ltd. Prior to this, they worked at Serafina Energy Ltd. where they served as an Engineering Technologist, supporting the production and completions engineering team with process improvements and data tracking/analysis. Meghan developed a material tracking process to improve forecasting ability and reduce downtime.

From 2006 to 2020, Meghan worked at Imperial Oil Resources Limited in various roles. As a Subsurface Workover and Abandonment Technologist, they were responsible for workovers and abandonments for the Cold Lake Asset and executed cost reduction opportunities. Meghan also served as the Nabiye & Maskwa Casing Integrity Technologist, preparing diagnostic and well intervention programs and ensuring well integrity. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Oil Field Operator, evaluating well properties and maintaining compressor units.

Throughout their career, Meghan has demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Meghan has also been recognized for their safe driving and for constructing electronic tracking documents for maintenance and inspection reports.

Meghan McKendry C.E.T pursued their education at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), where they obtained a diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology. Meghan'sfield of study focused on Petroleum Engineering Technology. Additionally, they earned the certification of Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) from ASET | The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta.
