Nicholas Ayre

Nicholas Ayre is currently the Team Lead for Business Development Geosciences at Strathcona Resources Ltd., a position held since April 2023, and previously served as a Senior Geological Advisor for Business Development at Canadian Natural Resources Limited from October 2022 to April 2023. Nicholas has extensive experience in geology, having worked as a Project Geologist at Canadian Natural Resources, a Senior Geologist focusing on New Growth and Opportunity at Rife Resources Ltd. (July 2013 - October 2022), and a Senior Geologist in Resource Development at Enerplus from May 2012 to June 2013. Earlier roles include Senior Geologist at Fairborne Energy Ltd., Staff Geologist for International Exploration at Husky Energy, and Geologist at Bonavista Energy Corporation. Nicholas holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Calgary, achieved between 1992 and 1998.
