Bernardo Marques

Bernardo Marques has a diverse range of work experience. Bernardo is currently working as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Stratio, where they are responsible for enabling teams to adopt more resilient and efficient processes. Prior to this, they worked at OutSystems as a Quality Owner, focusing on quality assurance. Bernardo also worked at Stratio as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they contributed to the planning and implementation of QA processes. Bernardo was also a founding member of QA Coimbra.

Before joining Stratio and OutSystems, Bernardo worked at Feedzai as a Software Engineer in Test. Bernardo'sresponsibilities included planning and automating system tests, developing and maintaining test frameworks, and configuring Jenkins. Bernardo also mentored BSc interns and discussed and implemented QA-related processes.

Prior to their industry experience, Bernardo was a Graduate Student Researcher at ECOS, CISUC, where they worked on algorithms and data structures for large-scale geographic information systems. Bernardo also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at ECOS, CISUC and LCT, CISUC, where they focused on projects related to the implementation of protocols and IP performance metrics.

In addition to their work experience, Bernardo also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Coimbra.

Bernardo Marques completed their M.Sc. in Computer Science at the Universidade de Coimbra from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2010 to 2014. In December 2017, Bernardo Marques earned a certification in Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
