Andrew Specian

Andrew Specian, PhD, is a Mechanical Development Engineer at Strato, Inc. since August 2022, previously contributing as a MEAM PhD student at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2014 to August 2022. Andrew has diverse experience in mechanical engineering, including internships at Ethicon, where responsibilities involved leading project meetings, designing experiments, and developing technical documentation. Notable achievements include researching vibration apparatus design for the New Jersey Space Grant Consortium and serving as an Assistant Manager at Mid-Atlantic Robotics, overseeing logistics for a major event. Andrew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The College of New Jersey.
