Nicko Böhnke

Nicko Böhnke has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Nicko is currently employed as the Lead Programmer at Stratosphere Games GmbH. Prior to this, they worked at Bigpoint GmbH as an Expert Game Developer from 2020 to 2021. From 2018 to 2019, they served as a Senior Game Developer at northworks Software GmbH. Before that, they were a Technical Product Lead at InnoGames GmbH from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, they worked as a Technical Director and Technical Lead at SinnerSchrader, and as a Developer in 2014. Nicko also has experience as a Lead Programmer at Deep Silver FISHLABS from 2013 to 2014, and at Ticking Bomb Games GmbH as a Lead Gameplay Programmer from 2013 to 2013. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Gameplay Programmer at Ticking Bomb Games GmbH. Their earlier experience includes working as a Game Design Consultant and Game Programmer at Reakktor Media GmbH from 2007 to 2012. In 2018, they also dabbled as a Board Game Author.

Nicko Böhnke attended Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a degree in Diplom-Mathematiker. Nicko studied Mathematics during their time at the university.
