Steven Mullins

Steven Mullins, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Steven has held various roles in the IT industry, ranging from consulting and engineering to management positions.

Steven started their career at Purdue University, where they served as the Manager of Operations at the Krannert Computing Center. Steven then moved on to become the Director of Computer Services at CFS within the same university.

After leaving Purdue, Steven joined Computer System Resources as a Senior Engineer. Steven later worked at Woods Wire as a WAN/LAN Analyst before transitioning to CommNet Plus as the Director of Engineering Services. At CommNet Plus, they played a key role in designing and implementing mid-sized ISPs, as well as increasing services revenue through value-added professional engineering services.

Steven then worked at Eli Lilly and Company, where they held multiple roles. Steven began as a Senior Systems Analyst in Enterprise Systems Management, responsible for network and security event monitoring. Steven later became a Senior Systems Analyst in Global Telecom, providing consulting and design support for the company's global wide area network.

At Eli Lilly, Steven also served as an Associate Consultant in Global Telecom, leading technical support and managing contracts. Their final role at Eli Lilly was as the WAN Service Delivery Manager, overseeing the management and operational support of global telecommunications services.

Following their time at Eli Lilly, Steven worked at MIS LLC as a Consultant before joining Bell Techlogix as an Engineer in the Route/Switch/Security practice.

Most recently, Steven worked at Stratosphere Quality, where they held multiple roles. Steven started as a Consulting Architect before becoming the Director of Infrastructure and Security. In this role, they managed service delivery and infrastructure groups, overseeing significant projects such as the implementation of Office 365, service desk outsourcing, and the delivery of cloud-based solutions.

Currently, Steven holds the position of CISO at Stratosphere Quality.

Steven Mullins, MBA has a diverse educational background. Steven earned a BA degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Purdue University from 1980 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, which they completed in 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Steven Mullins also obtained several certifications. Steven is a Certified Meraki Network Associate (CMNA) from Meraki/Cisco, which they obtained in October 2013. Steven is also a Cisco Data Center Support for UC Specialist (obtained in February 2013), a Cisco Express Foundations Field Specialist (obtained in December 2012), and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (obtained in December 2011). Furthermore, they hold certifications as a McAfee Technical Professional in various areas such as Data Protection, Network Defense, Risk and Compliance, and Web and Email Security, all obtained in December 2011.

It is worth noting that Steven Mullins pursued additional education in 2017, completing a Certificate in Business Administration and Management, specifically Applied Management Principles, also from Purdue University. Furthermore, they are currently pursuing a Doctor of Technology degree from Purdue University, which they began in 2019.
