Richard P. Messina

Richard P. Messina is the Vice President of STRATTEC's Global Engineering since October, 2019. Previously, Rich held combined leadership positions of VP of Global Engineering and Purchasing and was VP of STRATTEC's Global Sales and Access Control Products Engineering since August, 2013. He is a member of the management team of Vehicle Access Systems Technology LLC (VAST), a joint venture entered into by STRATTEC with two partners, since August, 2013. He first joined STRATTEC in 2008 as the Vice President of STRATTEC Power Access when STRATTEC and WITTE jointly acquired the Power Products group from Delphi Automotive Systems. Prior to STRATTEC, Messina was the Chief Engineer of Delphi Power Products and held several leadership roles within Delphi. Messina holds an MBA from Oakland University and Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering & Management Institute).
