Karen Ray

Karen Ray has over 17 years of work experience in the medical field. Karen began their career in 1993 as a family physician in the United States Air Force, where they also served as the director of the Allergy/Immunizations clinic and the women's health/dysplasia clinic. Additionally, they held the rank of Major (O-4) and performed routine medical care and minor surgeries. In 2004, Karen joined Tidewell Hospice as an Associate Medical Director, where they provided direct patient care, approved admissions, and participated in community outreach. Karen also served as the medical director for a hospice house with 12 beds and had a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of delirium.

Karen Ray received their MD degree in Medicine from Texas A&M University in the years 1986-1993. Karen then pursued a Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1993-1996. In 2008, they obtained a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine from the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). In 2013, they became Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
