Frikkie Botha

Frikkie Botha has a diverse work experience in the fields of cloud architecture, network infrastructure, and IT management. ☁ Frikkie currently works as a Cloud Architect at Stratus Cloud since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Network Infrastructure & Cloud Services Manager at Aculocity from December 2016 to February 2023. ☁ Frikkie also worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from March 2012 to December 2016. Earlier in their career, they held IT management and network administrator roles at Huge Telecom, Global Alliance Insurance, Group Five, and Group Five Construction.

Frikkie Botha completed the Architecting on AWS program at Torque-IT in 2019 and obtained a CCNA certification from the same institution in 2004. In 2001, they earned the ICDL certification from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. ☁ Frikkie attended Hoërskool Dr. EG Jansen in 2000. Currently, Frikkie is pursuing a BSc degree in Computer Science and Information Systems at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, such as Cybersecurity for Safe, Reliable, Secure Industrial Control Systems from Fortinet in 2023, SAP on AWS (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020.
