Kevin RisonChu

Kevin RisonChu has worked in the IT industry since 1997, beginning their career as a Systems Engineer at MSI Systems Integrators. Kevin then moved to ConAgra Foods as a Senior Systems Administrator, followed by a Senior Unix Operations Administrator role at Scudder Weisel Capital. In 2000, they took a job as a Unix Systems Consultant at Strategic Data Systems, and then moved to First American Corporation as a Site Support Engineer in 2003. In 2005, they joined Entriq as a Senior Systems Engineer, and then moved to Veoh Networks as a Senior Linux Administrator in 2007. In the same year, they also began working at Mirum Agency (formerly Digitaria) as a Lead Systems and Infrastructure Engineer, Manager of Systems and Infrastructure, and then Director of Systems and Infrastructure. Finally, in 2017, they became CTO & Co-Founder of Stratus10, specializing in Solutions Architecture, Migration to AWS, DevSecOps Automation, Cost Optimization, and Managed Services.

Kevin RisonChu has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science from Creighton University, which they obtained between 1993 and 1997. Kevin also has several certifications, including AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional from Amazon Web Services obtained in September 2017, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services obtained in September 2015, Preventing Workplace Harassment for Mandated Managers (2 hours) 7.9 from Emtrain obtained in January 2017, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services obtained in September 2016, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services obtained in June 2015, and Preventing Harassment for Managers 2-Hour v6.8 from Emtrain obtained in December 2014.
