Alexis Hoeller is an accomplished undergraduate scholar currently serving as a Brumley Undergraduate NextGen Scholar at the Strauss Center for International Security and Law and as a Senior Undergraduate Fellow at the Clements Center for National Security. As a research assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, Alexis collaborates with the Politics of Race and Ethnicity Lab while also holding leadership roles as Vice Chair of the Student Conduct Board and Residential Assistant for the Jefferson Scholars Living Learning Community. Experience includes a research position at Crumpton Global LLC, an internship with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security, and a legislative internship with the Texas House of Representatives. Notably, Alexis has served as President of Texas Spirits, leading initiatives in diversity and community engagement, alongside a previous role as a Cyber Security Business Analyst at LCRA. Alexis is pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in International Relations & Global Studies and East Asian Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at The University of Texas at Austin.
