Shay Freilich

Shay Freilich is a Laboratory Manager at Strauss Group since September 2025, with prior experience as a Researcher at Biond Biologics Ltd, where responsibilities included pre-clinical development, design, and supervision of in vivo experiments. Shay served as Chairperson for Graduate Students at the Technion Student Association, coordinating programs and managing budgets, and also held the position of Welfare Coordinator. Additionally, Shay was a Teaching Assistant at Technion, leading laboratory sessions in food microbiology and advanced genetic technologies, and contributed to yeast fermentation research as a Research Assistant. Shay holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Food Engineering and a B.Sc. in the same field from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
