Assaf Tzur-El

Assaf Tzur-El has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Assaf currently works as an Architect - Consultant at Automated Banking Services Ltd. (SHVA), where they are responsible for designing the ATM wire switching system. Assaf manages the development process and developers while implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Prior to this, Assaf worked as a Technology Mentor at Strauss, providing guidance and support in technology-related matters. Assaf also had a role as a Career Mentor at Simple. Technology, where they helped individuals in their career development. As a Consultant at the same company, Assaf was involved in product planning, requirement gathering, and analyzing software and hardware needs.

Assaf also holds the role of a CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor). Assaf has been auditing IT/IS departments and systems for information security, governance, and protection of information assets. Assaf is a member of the ISACA organization and its Israeli chapter.

Additionally, Assaf has experience as a Visiting Lecturer at Lev Academic Center (JCT) and as a Technology Analyst at the Israel Innovation Authority. At CodeValue, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Architect, providing consulting services in architecture, development, and ALM/DevOps. Assaf taught various courses and undertook projects, including being a Software Architect at Israel Aerospace Industries.

Outside of their professional work, Assaf has been involved with FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) as a Judge and Judge Advisor, and as a mentor for the FLL competitions. Assaf has also worked as a Lecturer at Cyber Elite.

Assaf Tzur-El has also gained valuable experience as a Software Development Consultant at SAP and Quali, where they contributed to the development of various software projects, including cloud automation platforms using technologies such as Docker, K8s, AWS, and Azure.

Assaf Tzur-El obtained a B.Sc. degree in Math and Computer Sciences from Bar-Ilan University, which they attended from 1993 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a CISA certification from ISACA in November 2010.
