Nava Lavi

VP Infrastructure & Development at Strauss

Nava Lavi has a vast and diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Nava currently holds the role of VP Infrastructure & Development at Strauss Strategy since August 2019. Before joining Strauss Strategy, Nava worked at Taldor for seventeen years, where they started as a recruitment specialist and operations manager. Nava was later promoted to Account Manager in the Outsourcing Division, managing the Defense and Hi-Tech sectors. In 2012, they transitioned to the Defense Division and became Manager of two business lines - Outsourcing and Software Projects.

Prior to their time at Taldor, Nava worked at Integrity Systems (GlassHouse Technologies) as an Operations and Outsourcing Manager, specializing in consulting for infrastructure and database systems. Nava managed recruitment and operations for the company and also supervised a group of consultants.

Nava Lavi's early career includes working at Hever ITR as a Senior District Manager, where they managed over 50 employees and focused on recruitment in the hi-tech, financial, and administrative fields. Nava was a member of the company's management team and reported directly to the CEO.

In addition, Nava worked as a Student at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel while pursuing their B.A. degree.

Their professional journey began in the Israel Defense Forces in 1986, where they received officer training during their compulsory service. Nava held various positions as a Regular Army officer and was released to the reserves as a 1st Lieutenant. Nava continues to serve actively in the reserves.

Nava Lavi completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Heriot-Watt University, from the years 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, Nava Lavi obtained a Bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University, majoring in Political Science & History of the Middle East.
