Irwin Garry

Irwin Garry is a Senior Software Engineer at Strava since January 2022, contributing to the Growth Communications team by building notification systems. Previously, Irwin served as Team Lead at Zendesk, overseeing the realtime data pipeline and storage team, and held roles as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, where responsibilities included developing low latency streaming services for the Explore analytics product. At Olytico, Irwin maintained and developed a suite of social media-focused SaaS products using an Ember frontend and a Rails backend on AWS. Irwin graduated with First Class Honors in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin in 2017, where education included a Software Engineer internship at HubSpot, as well as data management experience at Dunnes Stores and cashiering at Petrogas Global Ltd (Applegreen).
