Andrey Karapetov

Andrey Karapetov is a skilled engineer with a strong background in software development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Stream since April 2023, previous roles include Technical Team Lead at AppDynamics, focusing on APM observability powered by OpenTelemetry from July 2020 to April 2023. Throughout a tenure at Salesforce from August 2018 to July 2020, Andrey advanced from Associate Member Of Technical Staff to Member Of Technical Staff and contributed as a Software Engineer Intern in 2017, working on a network optimizing machine learning framework in the infrastructure's EDGE team. Additionally, Andrey served as a Staff Sergeant and Jet Engine Testing Facility Operator in the Israel Defense Forces from February 2011 to January 2014, leading teams and managing operations. Andrey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
