Jose Ruiz

José Ruiz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and data center industry. Jose currently serves as the SVP, Global Accounts & Platform Strategy at Stream Data Centers, where they focus on strategic growth and customer experience. Prior to this, they founded Datacenter Tactics, a company that specializes in improving data center efficiency. José also worked as the Senior Director, xScale at Equinix, driving the development and execution of the company's hyperscale strategy. Before that, they held leadership positions at Compass Datacenters and Digital Realty Trust. Jose also served in the US Navy and Navy Reserve as a pilot and legal officer. José began their career as an Interactive Designer/Network Administrator at Orsatti & Partners.

Jose Ruiz completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomechanical Engineering from UMass Boston in the years 2000 to 2003. Jose later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Real Estate Development and Finance at Southern Methodist University from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Executive Director, Certified John Maxwell Speaker, Teacher, and Coach from Maxwell Leadership, obtained in 2016, and LEED AP Building Design & Construction from USGBC National Capital Region, obtained in 2010.
