Michael Izzo

Michael Izzo, CPA has over a decade of experience in the accounting field. Michael began their career in 2011 at ACM Global Laboratories as a Staff Accountant. In 2012, they joined The Outdoor Group as a Staff Accountant, where they developed an MRP for economic order quantity and prepared monthly perpetual inventory reviews. In 2013, they moved to TriNet as a Staff Accountant, where they helped integrate cash accounts associated with two business acquisitions. In 2015, they joined Arrow Electronics as a Staff Accountant II - IT Finance Project Accountant, where they were responsible for project accounting and variance analysis reviews. In 2017, they moved to EchoStar Corporation as a Principal Accountant, where they were responsible for accounting for marketable investment securities and cash equivalents. In 2019, they joined CommonSpirit Health as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, where they managed the financial reporting and consolidation of all business entities. In 2021, they joined Stream as a Senior Finance Manager, where they are responsible for managing the Financial Reporting and FP&A processes of the organization. Michael also monitors technical accounting pronouncements and oversees cost control measures. Prior to their accounting career, Michael Izzo served in the United States Navy from 1997-2004 as a Data Systems Technician/Work Center Supervisor.

Michael Izzo, CPA's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration-Management from Saint Leo University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2009. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, they earned a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, and in 2022 they obtained a Master of Science in Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Florida. In 2023, they completed the Accelerated Management Program (AMP) at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Michael also holds a Project Management Certificate from the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) which they obtained in 2022. In 2019, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Colorado.
