Scott Deter

Scott Deter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both health information management and the mortgage banking industry. Currently serving as a Health Information Technician at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System since January 2016, Scott specializes in coding outpatient records using ICD-10-CM and DSM-V, while also overseeing various functions within the Health Information Services department. Prior to this role, Scott held multiple positions as a licensed loan officer, including a significant tenure as a Sr. Licensed Mortgage Banker at Key Mortgage Services Inc., where expertise in loan origination and customer education was demonstrated. Throughout a distinguished career in mortgage banking, Scott achieved notable recognition as the number one originator nationally four times at Principal Residential Mortgage. Scott holds an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from DeVry University and has a strong educational background from North Central College and the University of North Texas.
