Kathy Hecker

Kathy Hecker has recent experience as an Associate Scientist at Streck since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from August 2018 to November 2020, where they focused on studying Chlamydia trachomatis and developing an organoid model for future research. From September 2016 to April 2018, Kathy was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Mary, where they guided students in bacteriophage research projects. Kathy also worked as a Summer Research Student at San José State University Research Foundation from June 2017 to August 2017.

Kathy Hecker completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from the University of Mary from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020.
