Nathan Shay, PE, AICP, currently serves as a Solutions Engineer at StreetLight since September 2022. Prior to this role, Nathan Shay worked at CDM Smith as a Transportation Planner from August 2019 to August 2022, focusing on various data analysis responsibilities in the Transportation Planning field, including big data traffic analytics, multi-scale modeling, and data-driven safety studies for clients across multiple states. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Analyst at the Houston-Galveston Area Council and a Senior Engineer at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, with a strong foundation in travel demand modeling. Nathan Shay also has academic experience as a Lecturer and Graduate Research Associate at The Ohio State University and as a Teaching Assistant at Ohio Northern University. Educational credentials include dual master's degrees in Civil Engineering and City and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio Northern University.
