John Oleksa has over two decades of experience in education, currently serving as an 8th grade American History Teacher and Gifted Intervention Specialist at Streetsboro City Schools since June 2001. Prior to this role, John worked as a Gifted Intervention Specialist at Columbiana County Educational Service Center from August 1998 to June 2001. John holds a Master's degree in Special Education with a focus on Gifted Education from Youngstown State University (1999-2002) and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a specialization in Comprehensive Social Studies from the same institution (1990-1994).
