Michael Faursby Ahlers

Michael Faursby Ahlers has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Michael Faursby is currently working at Stretch as a Partner, Head of Product Development, and Business Intelligence Consultant since January 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Business Intelligence Consultant at Stretch from January 2018 to January 2020.

In 2014, Michael co-founded HMS Technologies ivs and served as a Co-founder until December 2021. Michael Faursby also worked as a Management Consultant at Carve Consulting P/S from August 2015 to December 2017.

Before that, Michael was the Team Lead & Developer at SAXO.com from June 2014 to July 2015. Michael Faursby also co-founded and served as the CTO of BITTOO A/S from June 2013 to June 2015.

From August 2010 to April 2013, Michael worked as the Lead Engineer DTUsat II at DTU Space, National Space Institute. Michael Faursby also worked as an Assisting Teacher at Technical University of Denmark in September 2009, where they assisted with teaching an introductory course in applied engineering to first-year engineering students.

Additionally, Michael worked as a Software Developer and Assisting Teacher at Technical University of Denmark from 2006 to 2009. Michael Faursby developed an IT-system for storing, processing, and displaying measurements from the Danish power distribution network.

Prior to that, they served as the System Administrator at Scandinavian Highlands Holding A/S from 2006 to 2008, where they were responsible for buying, installing, and supporting the company's IT systems.

Michael also had leadership experience as the Vice President & Board Member at Students Business Relations (De Studerendes Erhvervskontakt - DSE) from 2006 to 2008. Michael Faursby managed the organization's membership, budget planning, and contract negotiation, and played a key role in implementing a project and task management system.

Michael Faursby Ahlers completed their education in the following chronological order:

In 2004, they began their studies at DTU - Technical University of Denmark and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electro Technology in 2007.

From 2007 to 2010, Michael pursued further education at DTU - Technical University of Denmark and successfully completed their studies, earning a Master of Science degree in Electro Technology.

In 2008, they participated in an exchange program at the University of Michigan, focusing on Electronic Engineering / Aero Space. This exchange program lasted for one year.

In terms of additional certifications, Michael obtained the following qualifications:

- In February 2018, they received the Qlik Sense Business Analyst certification from Qlik.

- In January 2019, they achieved the Qlik Sense Data Architect and Qlik Sense System Administrator certifications, both issued by Qlik.

- Michael also obtained the Birst certification from Birst at an undisclosed date in 2015.

- In August 2021, they became a Qlik Partner Ambassador.

- Finally, in September 2021, they obtained the SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake.
