Susanne Meese is an accomplished specialist in animal husbandry and education with extensive experience across various academic and industry roles. Currently serving as a Specialist Animal Husbandry and Lecturer at Strickhof since September 2023, Susanne Meese consults with farmers and organizes training and conferences related to livestock. With a focus on advanced agricultural practices, Susanne Meese has lectured at ETH Zürich and the University of Zurich, introducing Smart Farming concepts for veterinary professionals. Previous positions include Head of R&D and Head of PM Swine at Meliofeed AG, as well as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Clinic of Reproductive Medicine at the University of Zurich. Susanne Meese has also worked as a Project Manager for documentation and data acquisition of farm animals at ETH Zürich and led a semen production lab at Swissgenetics. Educational credentials include a doctorate from ETH Zürich and a Diplom in Biology from Universität Greifswald.
