Marit Kruisman has worked for five companies since 2005. Marit began their career at C1000 as a Sales Employee in 2005 and 2009. In 2009, they also began working for TUI Nederland as a Product Management - Opportunities, Work Placement. From 2013 to 2022, Marit worked for Booking.com in various roles, including Senior Software Quality Specialist, Software Quality Specialist, Customer and Accommodation Service Executive, and Customer Service Executive. In their role as Senior Software Quality Specialist, they defined Test Strategy and Quality Guidelines across multiple development teams and business units, and introduced and defined Automated Test Strategy Roadmaps. Marit also constructed automated test cases for multiple teams (API testing with Jest & Postman, UI testing with Nightwatch). In their role as Software Quality Specialist, they manually tested for various Booking.com products and tracks (Web, Mobile web, iOS, Android) and wrote and maintained automated UI tests (Selenium IDE and Nightwatch) for multiple teams under their support. In 2022, Marit began working for Stride as a QA Automation Engineer.
Marit Kruisman has an extensive educational background. Marit attended Jan Arentsz from 2000 to 2006 for their middelbaar onderwijs. From 2006 to 2012, they attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where they earned a Bachelor of Economics in Tourism and Recreational Management. During their time there, they also completed an Erasmus Exchange at Leeds Beckett University from 2008 to 2009, studying Marketing Communication, Principles of Advertising, and Professional Selling. In addition, Marit has obtained certifications from Udemy, Brightest, Coursera, edX, and Jan Arentsz.
