Onkar Talekar

Onkar Talekar has a strong and diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Onkar started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd and worked on developing the Universal Decision Engine for Bank of America. Onkar then moved on to the role of Sr. Systems Engineer and later as a Technology Analyst at the same company.

In 2013, Onkar joined Vanguard as an Application Developer where they developed an automatic periodic portfolio rebalancing workflow for retail customers. Onkar also worked on creating an interface to Vanguard's rebalance engine using Java and the core Spring framework.

After Vanguard, Onkar joined Bank of America in 2015 as an Application Developer where they improved cross-channel customer authentication experience. Onkar developed a hub for authentication methods and scoring techniques using Java, Spring core and aspects, and Apache Camel.

In 2017, Onkar joined Compass Group USA as an Application Developer and then moved to Priceline in 2019. At Priceline, they initially worked as a Senior Software Engineer, being a part of the architecture team for the global flights reservation platform. This platform is used to provide flights inventory and reservation capability to Priceline's customer base and other OTAs under the Booking Holdings umbrella.

As of February 2022, Onkar is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Priceline. Overall, Onkar has demonstrated expertise in developing and improving various software applications and has contributed to the success of multiple organizations throughout their career.
