Ross Kerr

Ross Kerr has worked in the technology industry since 2000. Ross'sfirst job was as a Computer Programmer at ProPak Software, LLC from 2000-2003. Ross then worked as a Computer Programmer at Bailey Industries from 2003-2004. From 2004-2015, they worked at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in various roles including Senior Information Technology Business Consultant, Systems Project Administrator, and Programmer/Analyst III. Ross then worked as a Senior Software Developer at AppCom Solutions from 2015-2016 and at ELEAD CRM from 2016-2018. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer, Platform Backend at Stride since 2021. Ross'sroles have included developing services and serverless components, creating AWS CloudFormation templates, and integrating databases to serverless components.

Ross Kerr obtained a JD from Barry University - Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2008 and a BA in Religion and Computer Science from Washington Adventist University in 2003. Ross also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services, such as an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (obtained in January 2019) and an AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) (obtained in March 2018). Additionally, they hold a Human Subjects Research – Social-Behavioral-Educational Basic certification from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY (obtained in December 2020).
