Marie Carney Hossfeld

Marie Carney Hossfeld is a seasoned educator and content specialist with extensive experience in teaching across various environments, including virtual and traditional classrooms. Currently serving as a Content Specialist at Stride, Inc. since May 2021, Marie has also been a teacher with K12 since March 2016, focusing on enhancing student writing skills. Previous teaching positions include roles at Killeen ISD, Georgetown ISD, Copperas Cove ISD, Jarrell ISD, Orenda Education, and Copperas ISD. Additionally, Marie has experience beyond the classroom, having worked as a representative for National Write Your Congressman, Inc. and as a crew leader for the U.S. Census Bureau. Marie holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of Denver and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Psychology from Hiram College, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from John Cabot University.
