Sheryl Tatum

Sheryl Tatum is a seasoned educator and administrator with over 20 years of experience in academic policy and research. Currently serving as Sr. Director at Stride, Inc. since October 2009, Sheryl has significantly contributed to strategic planning and program development, resulting in a notable graduation rate increase and improved school ratings across multiple institutions. Previously, Sheryl was the Head of School/Superintendent for Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy and Insight School of Oklahoma, where effective management of state relationships and operations for over 200 staff members was achieved. Sheryl's career began as a teacher at McKinley Elementary, where a focus on differentiated instruction and curriculum modification led to enhanced student outcomes. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.
