Janet McCrimmon

Janet McCrimmon is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the non-profit and community services sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of Strides Toronto since January 2020, Janet has previously held significant roles, including Executive Director at Aisling Discoveries Child and Family Centre and Director of Building Inclusive Communities at Family Service Toronto, where responsibilities encompassed strategic planning and operational leadership for large teams. As the first Executive Director of Community Organizational Health, Janet spearheaded the implementation of the Building Healthier Organizations accreditation process. Janet's earlier career includes roles as Health Services Manager at Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre and Non-Formal Learning Advisor at ActionAid UK, emphasizing organizational change and community development. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from Carleton University and ongoing studies at Harvard University, alongside a Certificate in Quality Management from the University of Manitoba.
