Yakau Buta has been in the media industry since 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as the CEO of Like Media Marketing, where they adapted to the ever-changing trends in the B2B marketing world and expertised the latest trends and technology. From 2015 to present, they have been the CEO of Stringershub, a media platform that connects professional videographers and eyewitnesses with media producers and editors. On the platform, media can quickly send a video shoot request or find a ready-to-use footage in the gallery. Meanwhile, stringers from all over the world can accept the task, complete it, add the footage to the task or upload it to the gallery and get paid for it.

Yakau Buta attended the University of Arizona in 2019, where they studied at the University of Arizona Center for Innovation.
