Scott Triglia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Scott is currently working as a Principal Engineer at Stripe since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Yelp from 2011 to 2019, where they held various technical lead positions and was responsible for engineering systems that generated the majority of the company's revenue. Scott also led initiatives to split a monolithic system into smaller, more efficient ones, resulting in faster development and operational turnaround times. Before Yelp, Scott was a Software Engineer at Yelp, specializing in search location parsing and handling. Scott also interned at LinkedIn, where they worked on data analytics, and collaborated with Bluebeam Software as a team member in designing and implementing an online PDF management system. Scott holds a MS degree in Machine Learning from the University of California, Irvine, where they worked on modeling spatial and temporal data using graphical models and probabilistic inference. Scott also conducted research as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at UC Santa Cruz.

Scott Triglia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Joint Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Harvey Mudd College in 2008. Scott then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, completing it in 2011.
