Shannon Shakespeare

Shannon Shakespeare has extensive experience in international tax, with roles at various prestigious companies. They began their career as an Associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in 2006 and then joined PwC in 2009 as a Senior Associate in the International Tax Services - U.S. Tax department. Shannon quickly advanced within PwC, becoming a Manager in the International Tax Services department in 2010 and later a Director in 2013. In 2015, they joined Amazon as a Senior Manager, responsible for International Tax Planning. Most recently, Shannon joined Stripe in 2019 as the Global Expansion Tax Lead.

Shannon Shakespeare obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan between 1996 and 2000. Shannon then pursued a law degree at Michigan State University College of Law, graduating in 2006.
