Thomas Welfley

Thomas Welfley is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Head of Service Platform at Stripe since January 2022, Welfley focuses on enhancing service-oriented architectures and developer experiences. Prior to this role, Welfley was a Senior Engineering Manager at Google, leading developer programs, and founded HipHipGo, where innovative products related to health and geolocation were developed. Welfley has held various leadership positions at Yola.com, managing a global engineering team and transitioning to microservice architectures, and co-founded Match Strike, driving the development of real-time web applications. Welfley holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.
