James McQuade

James McQuade has a diverse work experience ranging from finance and accounting roles to tutoring, teaching assistantships, and leadership positions. James is currently working as the Director and Controller at Strive Asset Management. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Associate in Finance & Accounting at the same company. Before joining Strive Asset Management, James worked at EY as an Assurance Manager, Assurance Senior, and Assurance Staff. James also has experience as a self-employed Math/Science/SAT/ACT tutor. James has been involved in various roles at the University of Notre Dame, including Accounting Teaching Assistant, Student Athlete Tutor, and Tour Guide. James also served as the Secretary/Co-Captain of the Club Triathlon Team. Additionally, they gained experience as an Auditing Intern at EY and as a Board Member of the Proud to be ND Student Ambassador Club. James also worked as a Campus Manager & Business Development Intern at Course Hero, Inc., and as a Pharmacy Technician/Cashier at The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P).

James McQuade attended Carmel High School, NY from 2009 to 2013 where they studied Accounting. After completing high school, they enrolled in the University of Notre Dame from 2013 to 2017. At Notre Dame, James pursued a dual degree in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a focus in Accounting and Economics.
