Navdeep Malik

Navdeep Malik is a Senior Scientist II at STRM.BIO since October 2022, where responsibilities include leading a program focused on gene therapy using extracellular vesicles and lipid nanoparticles, along with mentoring a team of scientists. Previously, Navdeep served as a Staff Scientist at the National Institutes of Health from May 2015 to October 2022, conducting research on breast cancer genes and developing mouse models for studying tumor-immune interactions. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher, exploring the interplay of mitochondrial metabolism and gene mutations in breast cancer progression. Navdeep earned a PhD in Cell Biology and Immunology and holds a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Zoology, and Chemistry.
