Nikolaos Koutras

Nikolaos Koutras has extensive work experience in materials engineering and research. Nikolaos began their career at DSM as an Associate Scientist in 2010, where they worked until 2012. Nikolaos then joined DSM Innovation Center as an Application Development Engineer from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they became a Ph.D. Researcher at the Technische Universiteit Delft. After completing their Ph.D., Nikolaos joined Strohm in 2018 as a Materials Development Engineer. Nikolaos is currently working at Strohm as a Team Lead in Materials & Process Engineering, a position they have held since June 2022.

Nikolaos Koutras began their education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Polymers and Polymer Composites Science and Engineering at The University of Sheffield from 2009 to 2010. Initially, they attained an Engineering Diploma (Equivalent of MSc) in Applied Physics from the National Technical University of Athens, but the specific years of study were not mentioned.
