Charlotte Potter has extensive work experience in various organizations and roles.

From 2018 to the present, they worked at the Stroke Association, starting as the Head of Innovation - Stroke Support and later assuming the role of Head of Universal Products. In these positions, they led teams in implementing user-centered design and digital technologies to support stroke survivors through remote support and information. Charlotte focused on scaling their reach and impact by growing remote telephone support, building content for stroke survivors, and automating processes.

From 2012 to 2018, they worked at Macmillan Cancer Support as an Innovation Consultant and Planning Manager. In the role of Innovation Consultant, they developed innovative digitally-enabled services to address mental wellbeing needs of cancer survivors and established partnerships for service delivery. As a Planning Manager, they created planning processes and communication plans, negotiated objectives for the corporate plan, and supported the network of planning champions.

Before that, they worked as a Freelance Consultant at Charlotte Potter Consultant from 2010 to 2012. Charlotte provided consulting services in various areas.

From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Programme Manager at Age UK. In this role, they led a successful policy programme on public sector reform and supported the team through a merger.

Charlotte Potter completed their Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Italian and French from the University of Cambridge from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Development Studies at the SOAS University of London, completing it from 2003 to 2004.
