Alex Okafor has worked in the software engineering industry since 2006. Alex began as a Co-op Programmer, Analyst at the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, where they made significant development contributions to projects involving workflow improvements and safety enforcement for nuclear power plants. In 2009, they moved to Lockheed Martin as a Software Analyst, where they worked on the real-time team to maintain and improve a large mission-critical application and provide developer support for clients. In 2010, they co-founded One Man Left Studios, LLC, where they designed and shipped 6 games from concept to marketplace across iOS, Android, Windows, OSX, and Linux. Alex also built backend infrastructure to handle millions of players in the online portions of the studio’s games and tools to help streamline and automate asset production and packaging for projects with tens of thousands of art assets. Finally, they are currently a Senior Software Engineer at strongDM since 2018.
Alex Okafor received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
