Craine Runton (He/Him)

Craine Runton (He/Him) has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2002 when they served as a Training and Operations Sergeant in the US Army. In 2007, they worked as a Network and Satellite Communications Engineer for DataPath, Inc. and then, in 2008, as a Network Security Engineer for General Dynamics C4 Systems. In 2014, they began working as an Information Security Architect for ProBuild. The following year, they started their tenure at SquareTwo Financial as a Senior Security Engineer. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Distil Networks in various roles, including Manager of Security, Security Team Lead, and Senior Security Engineer. Finally, in 2020, they began their current role as Senior Director, Security & Compliance and Director, Security & Compliance at strongDM.

Craine Runton (He/Him) has an extensive educational background. Craine earned a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Boston University in 2013, with a focus in Information Security. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from American Public University System in 2010, with a focus in International Business Management and Intelligence Studies. In addition to their formal education, Runton has obtained several certifications, including Divemaster (DM) from PADI in 2021, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in 2020, Rescue Diver from PADI in 2019, CISA from ISACA in 2016, CISSP-ISSAP from (ISC)² in 2015, and CISSP from (ISC)² in 2014.
