Elizabeth Joy Zalman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Elizabeth Joy is currently working as a Founder Advisor at Crane Venture Partners since May 2022. Previously, Elizabeth was the Co-Founder and CEO of strongDM, an Infrastructure Access Platform, from January 2015 to November 2021. Elizabeth Joy co-founded strongDM and managed and audited access to all infrastructure. During their time at strongDM, Elizabeth secured funding from notable investors such as Tiger, GV, Sequoia, True, DCVC, and Bloomberg Beta.

Before their role at strongDM, Elizabeth worked as an Advisor at Laconia Capital Group from January 2015 to May 2016. Prior to that, they held the position of VP, Insights & Client Services at Nomi (acquired by Brickstream) from February 2014 to December 2014.

Elizabeth's entrepreneurial journey began in 2010 when they co-founded and served as the CEO of Media Armor until January 2014. Media Armor was later acquired by Nomi. Prior to this, Elizabeth worked at Dotomi (acquired by Conversant) in various roles such as Manager, Analytics; Analytics Manager; and Account Manager from January 2006 to April 2010.

To start their career, Elizabeth founded Cuff & Tweed in 2003, where they worked as a Founder until December 2005.

Elizabeth Joy Zalman pursued their education at McGill University from 2000 to 2002, where they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Jewish Studies. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2000, they attended Marlboro College and focused on Economics coursework towards their Bachelor of Arts degree.
