Alan Hoskins

Alan Hoskins has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Alan began their career as a Data Transcriber at the Internal Revenue Service from March 2001 to February 2003. Alan then worked as a Data Analyst/Programmer at ChaCha from November 2009 to November 2013, where they managed databases and created content loads. From September 2014 to November 2015, Alan served as a Program Specialist at the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

In November 2015, Alan joined the Indiana Department of Transportation as an Application System Analyst/Programmer Senior. During their time there, they developed new internal applications using various languages and managed code for existing applications. Alan also wrote custom interfaces for Oracle's Webcenter Content. Alan left the Indiana Department of Transportation in June 2017.

Following that, Alan worked as a Senior Software Developer at Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana from June 2017 to May 2018. Alan then joined USA Football, where they held several roles including Full Stack Developer from May 2018 to March 2019, Senior .NET Developer from March 2019 to January 2020, and Director of Information Technology from January 2020 to March 2020.

In 2020, Alan moved to First Look Appraisals, where they worked as a Full Stack Developer from March 2020 to January 2023. Alan then joined Knowland in January 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer. Finally, Alan is currently employed as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Strongpoint Partners, starting in May 2023.

Alan Hoskins has pursued their education at Ivy Tech Community College. In 2006, they embarked upon an Associate of Science (A.S.) program in Hospitality Administration/Management and Computer Science. This journey continued until 2007. In 2014, Alan returned to Ivy Tech Community College to earn an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems, successfully completing their studies that same year.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Alan has also acquired certifications in various fields. Alan obtained the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2013 certification from Microsoft in March 2016. Furthermore, in May 2014, they achieved the MOS: Microsoft Office Excel 2013 certification, awarded by Certiport.
