Donny Ouyang is an accomplished entrepreneur and venture scout with extensive experience in the eCommerce and tech sectors. Currently serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at 500 Global, Donny has been the Founder of Blackcart since April 2017, providing innovative "try before you buy" software for eCommerce brands, backed by prominent investors and featured in major media outlets. Donny also contributes as a Venture Scout at Struck Capital and served on the Ecommerce & Digital Trade Council for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in 2022. Previous founding roles include Rayku, an online tutoring marketplace, and Kinkarso Tech, a network of consumer websites. Donny's academic background includes ongoing studies in Commerce at the University of Toronto.
