Mutaz Al Hijaj, PhD, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and academia. Since September 2016, Mutaz has served as a Project Engineer and Senior Structural Engineer at STRUCTUREPOINT - Concrete Software Solutions. Prior to this role, Mutaz was a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago from January 2013 to December 2016, where multiple courses in civil engineering were taught, including statics and the design of various structures. Earlier experience includes positions as a Teaching Assistant at Jordan University of Science and Technology and German Jordanian University, focusing on subjects such as fluid mechanics and structural analysis.
